Lab Name

Open Verification: Proof-of-Control

Short Description

Proof-of-Control: an open specification defining cryptographically verifiable evidence of AI agent behavior at runtime, verifiable by any party without re-running the system or trusting its operator.

Scope of Lab

  1. The six Domains of Verification: Privacy, Portability, Authorization, Security, Identity, and Provenance. The working groups define what each domain means at each level of verifiability.
  2. The Trustworthiness in Agents Matrix: the domains mapped against levels of verifiability, with example use cases.
  3. A working definition of Proof-of-Control and the properties of the evidence it produces.
  4. Over time, conformance and assessment criteria for verifiable evidence, and mappings to existing frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, CSA MAESTRO, OWASP) for interoperability.
